
The Ouachitas is a brewery focused on pushing local culture forward in Mena. They are committed to connecting, celebrating, and investing in their town.

The Ouachitas wanted to host a large-scale festival in a rural community not accustomed to events of this size. They didn't have an event brand, previous reference, promotional strategy, or infrastructure for drawing a crowd beyond small gatherings.
Unbound needed to help the event appeal to residents, visitors, breweries, and sponsors while maintaining a cohesive brand expression. Shady Mountain Beer Fest would be elevated, entertaining, and organized.
Unbound created the full Shady Mountain identity system across posters, banners, cups, shirts, and digital assets.

This visual language became the festival’s signature look, drawing instant attention across the state of Arkansas.

We designed a complete promotional suite: posters, sponsor banners, brewery-lineup signage, social media animations, and apparel.

We included practical event assets such as VIP badges, merchandise, and branded cups ensuring that the user experience was as enjoyable as possible.

Every touchpoint reinforced the same brand energy.

We developed a visual system rooted in the Ouachita Mountains, with layered gradients, concentric arcs, and geometric landscapes. These influences shaped every asset, from shirts and posters to merch displays and brewery signage.
The event was promoted through print and digital media, as well as radio, showing the brand across social feeds, stores, and community boards. We built signage and collateral that supported crowd flow, VIP access, beer garden entry, and organization. This ensured smooth operations for all participants.
The Shady Mountain Beer Fest established The Ouachitas in their community, proving that large, coordinated events could succeed in Mena and energize the entire town. With people experiencing the business for the first time in a structured event setting, The Ouachitas' brand footprint expanded dramatically.
The Shady Mountain Beer Fest drew over 1,000 attendees and sold out all VIP balcony passes. Breweries, sponsors, and the town rallied around an event unlike anything it had seen. The festival strengthened The Ouachitas’ community presence, increased brand visibility, and created a scalable identity system that can grow with future events.
